I dreww somethiiiing! There are a few proportional issues, but I’m liking the design. I missed my col-erase pencils. They’re still my favorite drawing tool ever, and they make my sketchy lines look magical.

1. new icon image for my personal blog.

2. a dress I’ve been dying to draw. heavily inspired by Elsa Billgren’s vintage fabulousness, Christina Hendricks, and a pair of espadrilles I can’t walk in.

Some sketches I’ve done recently. The first two are a pair from a story I’ve been writing up about a traveling magician who gets tangled up with a pair of children and their stern-looking governess. It takes place in 19th century Sweden.

The last is obviously Thorin smoking his pipe. :)

So back in December, doctorbatman commissioned me to do a series of playing card portraits for cynthiacloud's family who play Red Dragon Inn, which I'm told is riotously fun. It took me way longer than I intended as I lost my tablet while trying to finish the last one, and I feel horrible because these were supposed to be Christmas presents. I'm so sorry, David! I am the worst, but I hope you like these! I definitely had a lot of fun doing some digital work again.
